ORA-29786: SIHA attribute GET failed with error [Attribute ‘SPFILE’ sts[200] lsts[0]]

At the time of creating ASM spfile in 11gR2 standalone infrastructure, I faced following error

$ export ORACLE_SID=+ASM
$ sqlplus / as sysasm

SQL> create spfile='$ORACLE_HOME/spfile+ASM.ora' from pfile=
'$ORACLE_HOME/dbs/init+ASM.ora'
/
create spfile='$ORACLE_HOME/spfile+ASM.ora'
from pfile='$ORACLE_HOME/dbs/init+ASM.ora'
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-29786: SIHA attribute GET failed with error
[Attribute 'SPFILE' sts[200] lsts[0]]

I’ve installed Grid infrastructure for single node and created ASM instance as part of it (not by using asmca). For some reason, Oracle thinks that it is created manually and does not register the resource.
How I solved this problem?

1. Add ASM without any spfile

$ srvctl add asm -l LISTENER -d '/dev/vgora*/*'

2. Once ASM resource is added, create spfile

SQL> create spfile='$ORACLE_HOME/dbs/spfile+ASM.ora'
from pfile='$ORACLE_HOME/dbs/init+ASM.ora'
/

3. Remove the ASM resource & add with spfile

$ srvctl remove asm
$ srvctl add asm -l LISTENER -p /oragrid/11gr2/dbs/init+ASM.ora -d
'/dev/vgora*/*'
